The Solid Seat Insert is a solid wood base that fits neatly inside of your wheelchair cushion's cover. The Solid Seat Insert is available in all standard JAY cushion sizes. If your size is not standard, a variety of additional sizes are available through JAY Your Way.
Adjustable Base
The Adjustable Solid Seat features ABS plastic to provide you a firm base of support for improved posture and positioning. Each seat size adjusts to accommodate a range of wheelchair widths and depths. Its non-skid surface keeps the cushion in place during transfers and daily use.
Versatile Hardware with Drop Seat Option
The Adjustable Solid Seat's versatile hardware allows the wheelchair seat to be raised, lowered, or angled up to 1.5" to provide the best seated position for you. Lower the seat to accommodate taller cushions or to increase floor access for foot propulsion. Raise the seat to improve positioning of your lower extremities. Angle the seat to customize and improve positioning of your upper body.
For times when you need additional adjustability, the Drop Seat hardware option allows the seat to be lowered 2.5".
