The Tufo S3 Lite Tubular Racing Wheelchair Tire is the real deal! Underneath the tread is a puncture proof ply, with a different color than the tread, which also serves as a tread wear indicator. Right under the puncture proof ply is a buffer consisting of rubber cord composite with circumferential orientation. The buffer further shields the tire against punctures and significantly contributes to lowering the rolling resistance.
