The Honeycomb Stimulite Contoured XS cushion is designed for extra sensitive skin and features a soft top layer of specially engineered Stimulite honeycomb fused to two bottom layers. Ventilated for maximum comfort. Available in either sling or flat bottom.

Flat Bottom vs Sling Bottom: The "Flat Bottom" is designed for tensioned nylon sling chairs that sling only slightly. The "Sling Bottom" (shaped bottom) is designed for the highly slung vinyl type wheelchairs (mostly folding hospital type wheelchairs). The cushions are the same, except the "sling bottom" model has a shaped base on bottom. This shaped base neutralizes the sling of the chair & eliminates the need to place a board or other rigid material on top of the sling.

The Stimulite Controured XS Cushion by Supracor is made of Flexible Fusion - Bonded Honeycomb. What does that mean? It means the flexible, pressure reducing honeycomb cells are bonded without adhesives. It is fabricated from thermoplastics which allows it to have a memory and return to its original shape. This technology creates a longer lasting cushion that won't compress and lose its shape compared to other materials on the market.
